My name is Christina. I am a 34-year-old wife, mother, and work-from-home travel agent. My husband and I have been together 17-years. Whew. That’s half my life. Together we have three children.
Our son, Chord, is almost 14. He is the reason for the baseball aspect of this journey. In 2023, we spent 23 weekends at various ballparks around the country. Throw in a couple of week-long tournaments along the way, and we easily spent 50 days of the year at a ballpark. With practices, pitching and hitting lessons, and random activities in between, we have to find the tricks, quick and easy meals, and must-haves to make it through. We are just beginning our first high school summer ball season, so I am sure there will be more to come as we make the transition from elite travel ball to high school ball.
Our other two children are both girls under ten. They generally tag along for all of the baseball gigs. They have seen ballparks in Texas, Missouri, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, and South Carolina. They roll with the punches and are generally great sports. Our middle daughter is a fantastic piano player and will be starting soccer this fall. I’m excited to see how this new-to-us sport will alter our current lifestyle. Our youngest is beginning her softball journey in t-ball, so while she is local currently, we know travel softball is in our future as well.
Our adventures don’t ever stop at sports travel. I am a full-time travel agent specializing in family travel. I have been with A Pair of Ears Travel since May 1, 2018. Since becoming a travel agent, I have personally completed over 25 different journeys, including multiple Walt Disney World vacations, annual trips to Universal Orlando Parks and Resorts, two journeys to Disneyland in Southern California, SeaWorld Orlando, three cruises with Royal Caribbean International, and visits to over 11 resorts in the Cancun, Mexico area. I have traveled solo, as a member of a girls-only group, with friends, with strangers, and of course with family. We travel with our immediate family of five, with our household of six, and most recently with our extended family of 12.
