This October, we embarked on an unforgettable 4-night adventure to Walt Disney World, filled with magic, thrill rides, and delicious treats. While our trip was cut short by two nights due to Hurricane Milton, we managed to make the most of our time, creating cherished memories and ticking off all our must-do experiences. Here’s a quick recap of our whirlwind trip!

The Parks: 4 Days, 4 Parks, Endless Fun

Even with an unexpected early departure, we maximized every moment by visiting all four parks. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Magic Kingdom: Experiencing Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was an absolute treat! This reimagined ride perfectly captures the charm and energy of Tiana’s story, and we loved seeing the new theming in action. Riding Tron Lightcycle Run was an adrenaline rush. It lived up to all the hype—fast, sleek, and futuristic. Definitely one of our new favorite thrill rides!
  • EPCOT: On Tuesday, we indulged in the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. The global flavors were a delight, and it was the perfect way to snack our way through the park. Plus, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind blew us away with its immersive experience and soundtrack!
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: We made our way through the park to hit my must-do Toy Story Midway Mania! It is hands down my favorite ride, but unfortunately, I competed against my husband this go round and he cheats!
  • Animal Kingdom: No trip to Disney is complete without a walk through Pandora and riding Flight of Passage.

Our Stay at All-Star Sports Resort

We opted to stay at the All-Star Sports Resort, which turned out to be a fantastic choice for a budget-friendly Disney stay. The resort offered everything we needed: comfortable accommodations, fun sports-themed decor, and easy transportation to all the parks. We’ll definitely stay here again on future trips!

Weathering the Unexpected: Hurricane Milton

Our trip took an unexpected twist when we had to evacuate two nights early due to the incoming Hurricane Milton. Thankfully, Disney’s team was incredibly helpful in making sure we could leave smoothly. We hit the road with little delay and made it back home safely without any major hiccups along the way.

Looking Back & Moving Forward

Although our adventure ended sooner than we hoped, this trip was filled with joy, new experiences, and unforgettable memories. From thrilling rides to delicious food, we were able to do everything on our Disney bucket list. We’re already looking forward to planning our next trip—and maybe next time, the weather will be a bit more cooperative!
