Chord called last week from the Caribbean Ocean aboard the Disney Wish.
Why?
Oh. He wants his uncle to drop him off at the ballpark on their way back so he can play in a tournament.
So, it is time to transition the Simple Modern Beach Bag Rubber Tote from the beach bag we toted on the Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas to the ball bag. What do you carry in your ballpark bag? Here’s a quick list of my must-haves!

- Sunscreen – Momma is pale and the middle child is obsessed with skincare. We all apply sunscreen multiple times a day when at the ballpark. We have all the bases covered from aerosol spray to a face stick.
- The Nexus Mount – This is my go-to streaming mount. I love the ability to shade my device, mount it on fences and netting, and hold my external charger. I currently live stream using GameChanger and my Samsung Note20. I have had the setup for over a year and haven’t experienced an overheat yet.
- Rechargeable Fans – These fans are my favorite handhelds. They are small enough for the girls to use as needed, fold up nicely for storage, and can also work as a charger for devices.

- Baby Wipes – Because why not? I use them for all of the things all of the time at the ballpark.
- Simple Modern Trek Tumbler – These tumblers have become my go-to for all the time, but super important for ballpark days. I have two in the 40oz size and my girls each have one. We got the larger 30oz for our middle daughter and the smallest 24oz for our youngest. They love that they have the handle. I love that they are spill proof and hold ice all day.

- Waterproof Bags – I toss one of these in the bag to as a “just in case” for wet or dirty clothes, shoes, etc. I use a second one to hold my sunscreens as well as a first aid kit.
- Instant Cool Packs – These are a necessity in the south. My daughter suffers from heat-induced migraines, so they are a must-have for her. Being the mom of a pitcher means you come prepared to ice the arm just in case.
At any given time you will also find random pens, sunglasses, and kid “treasures” they have collected. I try to get my husband to hang the car keys on a fancy little hook inside, but that is a rare event. My son generally tosses his cell and Beats once he finishes his warm-up routine, too.
